Are you looking for an opportunity with a professionally run, family-oriented farming organisation?  Our client, a mixed farm, mainly cropping, and sheep enterprise, has a Senior Farm Hand position available in the beautiful Esperance Region. The applicant must have a high-level mechanical skills, hold a MC licence. This role is a diverse role switching between farm operations and maintenance. 
 
Package can include an immaculate 4×2 Homestead with office, double garage, separate retreat wonderful established garden-and a primary school only 3kms away. Or a tidy cottage for a single person.

About the Role: 

  • Running the farm workshop; 
  • Operating broad acre machinery – seeding, harvest, spraying; 
  • General farm & machinery maintenance; 
  • Coordinating and undertaking scheduled maintenance and servicing; 
  • Truck driving; 
  • Other duties required with day to day running of the property. 

About you: 

  • High level Mechanical knowledge and welding experience; 
  • Previous experience running a workshop; 
  • High level farm hand, who takes pride in their work, and gets satisfaction from a job well done; 
  • Good team player with a can-do attitude, and takes pride in their workplace and work vehicles; 
  • Enjoys working with technology on the land; 
  • Proactive, capable and team oriented; 
  • MC Licence; 
  • Non-smoker; 
  • Suit a single or young family.
