Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Farm Hand/2IC to join the team. This is a great client, who has consistently good feedback from previously placed seasonal candidates. This role is varied, involving all aspects of crop farming, machinery operations, as well as pre/post seeding duties. Family owned and operated in the heart of the Wheatbelt, this is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Senior Farm Hand looking to take the next step in their career.  About the role:

• Starting ASAP;
• CASE machinery;
• Duties: Broadacre machinery operations including (seeders, sprayers, headers and tractors);
• Truck driving at harvest;
• Deep ripping & fertiliser spreading;
• Machinery maintenance and workshop duties;
• Some staff supervision;
• General farm duties as required.

 About you:

• Strong broadacre machinery experience including headers, seeders, tractors & spraying;
• Good spraying knowledge essential;
• Experience with mixing chemicals (Chemcert desirable);
• Good knowledge of seeding & harvest processes;
• Team player;
• Trustworthy and reliable;
• C-manual driver’s license essential, MC desirable.
