Job Description

An innovative and fast-growing agriculture company, located in the Great Southern Region, are seeking a Senior Farm Hand to join their team with an immediate start. Located just 30km south of Kojonup, this position requires a minimum of 2 years broadacre experience, strong machinery knowledge with the ability to assist in the workshop, supervise staff and work well within a team. You will be working in a team of 8 with well-maintained, modern machinery and well thought out processes and procedures in place. Accommodation will be provided and is suitable for singles, couples & families as well as a new work ute, allowances, and a generous salary.   Good Things to know:

• 5,500Ha cropping program – Wheat, Barley, Canola, Beans, Vetch;
• Located 30km south of Kojonup, WA;
• A primary & high school are available in Kojonup as well as groceries, sporting clubs, pubs etc;

About the Role:

• Immediate start;
• Operate broadacre machinery: headers, seeders, sprayers & chaser bins;
• Assist with livestock when required (sheep);
• Machinery maintenance & workshop assistance;
• Staff supervision;
• General farm duties;
• Modern, well-maintained machinery;
• 8 perm plus casuals;

About you:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with operating broadacre machinery;
• Previous machinery operation experience: headers, seeders, tractors etc;
• Ability to work in a team;
• Honest and reliable – knows when to report issues with gear etc;
• Prefer non-smokers;
• Manual C license essential, HC license desirable;
