Our client, a family owned business, is looking for a Sprayer Manager on a mixed property, focusing on the 12,000Ha cropping programme only.  Just two hours from Perth, this is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous broadacre spraying experience. 
Our client is willing to sponsor those with the right skills and experience.
 
About the role:

  • This is a full time position;
  • The farm has a 12,000ha cropping program of wheat, barley, lupins, peas, oats and canola; 
  • This role is for spraying and other machinery or cropping related work such as operating harvesters, deep rippers, spreading;
  • No requirement for sheep work;
  • Inspecting paddocks for weeds and timing;
  • Working with the Agronomist;
  • Machinery: All new modern TBH sprayers with John Deere 8R series tractors;
  • Start date: Immediate;

About You:

  • Must have previous broad acre spraying experience (preferably 3+ years);
  • Fully trained with mixing chemicals, rates, weed familiarity etc; 
  • Must be COVID19 vaccinated;
  • Must have the minimum required spray experienced to be considered;
  • MC license preferred (opportunity to upgrade).

What’s on offer:

  • Typically 40hr weeks during non seasonal periods and higher hours during peak periods;
  • Choice of houses available; 
  • All overtime paid and at flat rate. Opportunity to earn big hours if you desire, up to $20k extra in OT;
  • Pay: $40-$50+ per hour + (depending on experience);
  • Work ute provided;
  • Cropping and spray workshops and development;
  • Primary school close by with bus service;
  • High schools in Cunderdin and Kellerberrin (bus for both towns);
  • Just two hours to Perth.
