Our client is a family owned 100% cropping enterprise based in the Northern Wheatbelt, WA. Due to expansion, an exciting new position has been created for a Spraying & Plant Operator to commence immediately. This role will suit someone with strong broadacre machinery operating skills, a passion for cropping and great time-management skills. Located just 75km East of Geraldton, the client is offering a fantastic salary package, depending on skills and experience, accommodation and as well as work vehicle. Must be a non-smoker.

About the Role:

• Duties: Operate machinery and assist in maintaining Nitro spray machine & farm assets;
• Leadership responsibilities & some staff supervision;
• Keep accurate and up-to-date documented spray & paddock records;
• Machinery maintenance: Servicing and general repairs;
• General farm duties as required;

About You:

• Previous experience in broadacre cropping operations (Seeding, spraying, harvesting);
• Ability to lead a small, close-knit team;
• Good time management skills;
• Manual C Class license essential, HR or MC truck license desirable;
• Ability to work & communicate in a team environment;
• Self-motivated and progressive attitude with high level of attention to detail;
• Good verbal & written communication skills;
• Proficient with computers & technology;
• Ability to commit and adhere to safe work practices;
• Must be a non-smoker;
