Job Description
Australia’s Golden Outback – An exciting opportunity has emerged for a dedicated and experienced Senior Farm Hand to join their team in Lake King, WA. The role will primarily involve participating in the management of our 8,700Ha cropping program as well as machinery operations and general maintenance of the plant/equipment on site. In return, a modern 3×2 house in town is on offer as well as a highly competitive salary package, reflective of your skills and experience. Our client is very flexible and willing to train the right person that is willing to take on a more 2IC/Management position.

About the role:
- Operating a variety of agricultural broadacre machinery and implements, such as Sprayer, Headers, Air Seeder and Spreaders etc;
- Opportunity to work closely with the farm manager to develop crop program;
- Mechanical duties including maintenance of plant and equipment;
- General farm hand duties, fencing, yard work etc.
Skills Required:
- Previous experience in operating large broadacre machinery required;
- Previous spraying experience is highly desirable;
- Excellent communication skills with a positive team player attitude;
- Possess the ability to work autonomously;
- Flexibility with seasonal work and work hours;
- Knowledge of Autosteer/GPS systems desirable (can provide training);
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to weld is desirable;
- Manual class c motor vehicle licence (essential), HR or higher preferred.
