MC Truck Driver and Cook, Wubin WA

Our client based in Wubin, Western Australia (270km northeast of Perth) is looking for an experienced MC Truck Driver and Cook for the Harvest season.  Would ideally suit a couple.  Starting mid-late October until mid-January with meals and accommodation included.
 
About the Roles:
 
MC Truck Driver:

• Operating a Kenworth K200 C train;
• Your main duties will include carting grain and general maintenance of the trucks;
• Must have MC truck licence + medical and fatugue management certificates;
• Must be experienced carting grain and be able to service and maintain the truck;
• Long hours and a rate of $40+ per hour depending on your experience;
• Shared accommodation with own room is available however would suit a couple traveling together with own caravan;
• Meals provided during peak period;
• Non-smoker preferred.

Cook:

• Cooking for a team of 10;
• Preparing and delivering Lunch to workers and cooking Dinner;
• Housekeeping duties – keep quarters tidy, dishes, washing;
• Meal Planning, grocery shopping trips to local townsites;
• Fuel provided if you use your own vehicle;
• Must have excellent cooking skills, passionate about providing good wholesome meals; Baking skills a bonus;
• Must have the ability to work in a team;
• Non-smoker preferred;
• Hourly rate of $30+, depending on experience;
• Plenty of hours available if desired (other duties could include assisting the cropping team with various jobs);
• Shared accommodation with own room is available however would suit a couple traveling together with own caravan;
• Meals provided during peak period.
