Job Description

Operator required on a large family run farm located in Lake King, WA (470km south east of Perth) with a 10,000ha cropping program: To commence mid June/July. Plenty of work going through to harvest, spreading urea and post emergent spraying and general farm duties.  New accommodation and kitchen facilities; and food provided at harvest (breakfast, lunch and dinner).  Strictly non-smoking. Potential full time Farm Hand role for the right person.

About the role:

  • Starting mid June until September;
  • Potential to stay on for harvest ( Header or chaser);
  • Operating; Goldacres SP sprayer.
  • Fertilizer spreading;
  • General farm duties including machinery and farm maintenance;
  • $35-40 depending on experience

About you:

  • Previous broad acre spraying experience preferred;
  • Must have a strong farming background;
  • Must have previous experience operating large broad acre machinery;
  • Able to work  independently;
  • Strictly non-smoker.

What’s on offer:

  • Hourly Rate: $35-40, depending on experience;
  • Hours: 8-10 per day and more during peak periods ( Harvest);
  • Brand new accommodation: Suitable for singles only;
  • Meals: All food included during harvest ONLY
