Header Operator, Varley WA

Our client, a friendly family operation, are looking for experienced Header Operator for their mixed broadacre farming property in Varley, Western Australia (located 420kms south-east of Perth). Starting late October until late December, you will be operating very well maintained, near new machinery. Lots of hours on offer with donga style accommodation and evening meal provided during harvest. This is a strictly a non-smoking workplace.

• Located 420km from Perth and 300km from Esperance.

About the role:

• Start late October until late December;
• Operating either a John Deere S780 or New Holland CR10.90 with a 60ft front;
• Helping with daily maintenance of Headers and Chaser bins.

About you:

• Ability to work in a team environment;
• Friendly, honest, easy to get along with;
• Experienced a few harvest seasons on broadacre properties;
• Ability to operate equipment carefully and respectfully;
• Ability to work long hours when required in a fast paced workplace;
• This is STRICTLY a non-smoking workplace.

Other Details:

• Hourly rates for experienced operators is $35-$40;
• 12 -14 hours a day, 13-day fortnight;
• Donga style with communal kitchen area;
• Evening meal is supplied during harvest.
