Header Operator and Chaser Bin Operator, Koorda WA

Job Description

Experienced Header Operator and Chaser Bin Operator are required on a family operated property with a 7,500Ha cropping program located in Koorda, Western Australia (250kms north-east of Perth). Starting late-October until Christmas, you’ll be operating New Holland and John Deere machinery.  Working in a team of 5 with accommodation and work vehicle provided.

About the role:
• Starting late-October until Christmas;
• Operating either a New Holland CR9070 Header or John Deere 9200 with 30T bin.
 
About you:
• Must have previous header and/or chaser experience;
• Mechanical understanding;
• Good English speaking skills;
• Good attitude and capability;
• Preferably non-smoker (definitely not in machinery, accommodation or paddocks).

What’s on offer:
• Hourly rate: Chaser $32-$38, Header $35-$40, negotiable depending on experience;
• Hours: 12-14 hours a day, 6 days per week;
• Accommodation: House in town or on farm;
• No meals; work vehicle provided to go to town for supplies.
