Great feedback from previously placed candidates!  An experienced Header Operator and Chaser Bin Operator are required on a family operated property with a 6,500Ha cropping property located in Morawa, Western Australia (2 hours south-east of Geraldton).  Starting mid-October until mid-December, you’ll be working in a team of 4 operating New Holland and Challenger machinery.  Accommodation, meals and work vehicle available.  Couples welcome!

About the roles:

• Starting mid-October to mid-December;
• Working in a team of 4;
• Header: Operating a New Holland CR8.90 with 18m front;
• Chaser: Operating a tracked Challenger MT865E tractor with 30T chaser bin, chasing 2 Headers;
• Responsible for daily maintenance of the tractors and chaser bin.

 
About you:

• Header Operator must have at least 1 Harvest season’s experience;
• Training is provided for the chaser driver if needed, however must have tractor operating experience;
• Ability to operate equipment carefully and respectfully;
• Ability to work long hours when required;
• Good English speaking and communication skills;
• Smokers/vapers considered but not in machinery or accommodation.

 
What’s on offer:

• Hourly rates: Chaser $32-$38 and Header $35-$40, depending on experience;
• Hours: 10 hour days, 6.5 days per week weather permitting (Sundays off).
• Accommodation: 4 bedroom donga with separate living quarter containing shared kitchen and bathroom.
• Meas: Breakfast and lunch food is provided for your own food prep along with a cooked dinner;
• Farm vehicle provided.
