About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head Stockperson to join a leading Angus breeding program in a breathtaking coastal location. This role offers the chance to work with a high-quality, intensive artificial breeding program on a large-scale mixed farming operation.
As part of a dynamic and motivated management team, you will play a crucial role in the 3,000-head cattle operation with AI and ET programs while ensuring best-practice low-stress stock handling techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing daily cattle husbandry and animal health tasks;
- Assisting with AI (Artificial Insemination) and ET (Embryo Transfer) programs;
- Implementing low-stress stock-handling techniques;
- Maintaining accurate livestock data using Agriwebb or similar software;
- General farm maintenance, fencing, and water infrastructure management.
