Job Description

Two hours from Perth! A General to Senior Farm Hand position has become available on a family owned, 7,000Ha mixed cropping property with approx. 4,000 sheep. The cropping consists of around 1,500Ha of export hay they run well-maintained, modern John Deere and Claas machinery. To apply for this position, you will need to have at least 2 years’ experience in broadacre farming as well as well as previous experience operating relevant machinery. In return the client is offering a 3×1 home, vehicle, $35+ depending on skills and experience as well as training and growth opportunities.  About the Role:

• There is the ability to train for growth for the right candidate;
• Machinery Operating -Tractors, mowers, balers, boomspray, header etc;
• Machinery maintenance;
• Stock Work;
• General Farm duties.

 About You:

• Minimum 2 years cropping/stock experience;
• Previous experience operating a boom spray (desirable);
• Mechanically minded;
• Able to work towards deadlines;
• Ability to work under pressure during busy cropping periods;
• Eagerness to learn the role;
• Must hold a HR license or higher;
• Non-smoking preferred.
