Job Description

An experienced General Farm Hand/Machinery Operator is required on a large cropping enterprise with a 11,200HA cropping program located in Jerramungup, WA (4 hours from Perth). Immediate start with ongoing full-time potential. You will be operating John Deere machinery for harvest. Accommodation suitable for singles, couples and families. Day and night shifts available. Couples and friends travelling together welcome. Sponsorship available for the right person.

 About the role: 

• Start: Immediate;
• Operating the header or chaser bin for harvest;
• Operate broadacre machinery: tractors, seeders, spreaders etc;
• Truck driving on-farm if licensed;
• Machinery maintenance & workshop assistance;
• General farm hand duties;
• Working in a team of 10.

 About you: 

• Experience with broadacre machinery: tractors, seeders, chaser bins, headers etc;
• Minimum 2yrs machinery operating experience;
• Ability to work well within a team
• Honest and reliable; 
• C-manual driver’s license essential;
• Non-smokers preferred.

What’s on offer:

• Hourly rate: $34-$38; depending on experience;
• Hours: 12 hour day and night shifts, 6 days per week during peak season, 8 hour days Mon Friday otherwise;
