Job Description
This a great opportunity, our client, a family owned and run cropping enterprise based in the Corrigin region of Western Australia, are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated General Farm Hand to join their team.
Good Things to Know:
• 18,000ac cropping, which includes wheat, canola, barley, hay, oats and lupins;
• Modern JD equipment with GPS, Autosteer and CTF;
• Great location, access to health care, pub, cafes, shops and sporting facilities.
About the Role:
• Seeding;
• Harvest;
• Spreading – JD GPS and Autosteer;
• Spraying, including mixing chemicals;
• Machinery – maintenance and workshop duties;
• Fencing;
• General farm work;
• Basic mechanical skills;
• MC truck driving.
About You:
• Driver’s licence – MC license or working towards MC;
• Experience operating tractors;
• Boom spray experience;
• Knowledge of chemical mixing and ability to spray independently;
• Positive attitude, wiling to learn, ability to work unsupervised;
• Work well as part of a team and possess leadership qualities;
• General mechanical aptitude, basic welding ability;
• Willingness and ability to mentor staff.

• Salary negotiated based on experience;
• Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30am – 5:30pm during off peak times;
• Accommodation: 3×1 recently renovated house, fenced yard, utilities included. Currently furnished but can be unfurnished if preferred.
