Family owned and run mixed cropping & sheep property, located 25kms from Bremer Bay, WA, are seeking a full-time, permanent General Farm Hand to join their small team. Must be experienced with operating broadacre machinery as well as previous knowledge and experience in agricultural processes and procedures. C-maul driver’s license essential, MC preferred. • 6000ha mixed copping enterprise (canola, barley & wheat), approx. 760 sheep;
• Spread across 3 properties: Located 25kms from Bremer Bay;

About the Role:

• Start date: Flexible;
• Duties include: Operating broadacre machinery (including headers, seeders, sprayers &
• Machinery maintenance and workshop duties;
• Truck driving;
• General farm duties;
• Machinery used: Quadtrack, Steiger & JCB tractors, CASE headers, Coolamon Chasers, Nitro sprayers, MACK trucks and Pro700 & Topcon GPS systems;
• Size of team: 3 plus casuals.

About you:

• Must be experienced with operating broadacre machinery;
• Possess previous agricultural knowledge and understanding of processes;
• Previous experience with GPS (desirable);
• Previous truck driving experience;
• C-Manual driver’s license essential, MC preferred or willing to obtain;
• Ability to work in a team;
• Honest and reliable – knows when to report issues with gear etc;
• Non-smoker’s preferred.
