Chaser Bin Operator, Hyden WA

Job Description

A Chaser Bin Operator is required on a mixed family operated property located near Hyden, Western Australia (4 hours south-east of Perth). Starting ASAP to assist with pre-harvest duties then moving onto Chaser Bin operating for Harvest until mid-late December. Accommodation provided as well as lunch & dinner when busy.

• Family operated mixed property with a 3,700Ha cropping program;
• Located 20km to Hyden; 4 hours to Perth;
• Working in a team of 3.

About the role:

• Starting ASAP until mid-late December;
• Pre-harvest: General farm duties such as sheep work, maintenance and cleaning of machinery, fencing and other general duties;
• Harvest: Operating a JCB Fastrac 7270 with a 14T bin.

About you:

• Must have tractor operating experience, preferably chasing;
• Basic mechanical knowledge would be advantages;
• Good English speaking and communication skills;
• Fit and healthy;
• Smoking/vapers OK (not in accommodation, machinery, vehicle or in paddock).

• Hourly rate: $32-$38;
• Hours: 12-hour days, 6 days per week;
• Accommodation: Shared house with own bedroom, shared kitchen and bathroom;
• Meals: lunch and dinner provided when busy.
