Air Seeder Operator, Dumbleyung WA (REF 957867)

Job Description

An Air Seeder Operator is required on a mixed family operated property with a 4,000Ha cropping program located near Dumbleyung, WA (3.5 hours south-east of Perth).  Dates approx 01 April to 30 May, you’ll be assisting with pre-seeding duties then onto seeding.  Operating modern John Deere machinery with accommodation and vehicle provided.

• Located 17km to Dumbleyung, 3.5 hours to Perth;

About the role:

• Starting approx 01 April to 30 May with some flexibility;
• Working in a team of 3;
• Seeding: Operating modern JD machinery with 18m seeder bar.
• Some pre-seeding and small amount of general duties may be required such as sheep work (moving, drenching, checking lambs), preparing seeding bar, rock picking and fencing.

About you:

• Broadacre machinery experience essential;
• GPS and autosteer experience essential;
• Sheep experience preferred;
• Excellent English speaking skills;
• HC licence would be favourable but not essential.

• Hourly rate: $35;
• Hours: 9-12 hours per day, 6 days per week;
