Job Description

Our client, an easy going, mixed sheep and cropping family farm, located near Albany, WA are looking for a Air Seeder Operator.  The role will mainly comprise of operating an air seeder, seed truck, spreader work and other general farming duties including maintenance with a mix of cropping, sheep, and workshop duties. 3,000Ha property, close to a small town with access to all amenities within 25kms. Commencing late March until the late June.

About the role:

• Seeder: John Deere with 46FT Bourgault DBS;
• Workshop maintenance;
• General farm maintenance.

About you:

• Seeding experience preferred;
• HR licence preferred;
• Farming experience including tractor operating;
• Some sheep knowledge;
• Mechanically minded with machinery maintenance experience;
• Prefer non-smoker, will consider social smoker.
