Air Seeder Operator, Bruce Rock WA (REF 960908)

Job Description

An experienced Air Seeder Operator is required on a family owned and operated property with a 7,000Ha cropping program located in Bruce Rock, WA. Starting 01 April and running until the end of June, you’ll be operating modern JD machinery and 60ft bar.  Large tractor experience essential and farming background. Those with 1x season seeding experience favoured.  Working 12 hour days, 6 days per week.  No meals included.

About The Role:

• Team of 5;
• Dates: early April to late June;
• Main tasks include the operation of new John Deere tractors and 60ft bars for planting;
• Other tasks may involve urea spreading, rock picking and paddock preparation.

About You:

• Farming background and large tractor experience (ideally 1x season seeding experience);
• Excellent work ethic;
• Basic mechanical skills;
• Non smokers preferred.

What’s On Offer:

• Hourly rate: $35+ will pay higher rate for experienced operator;
• Hours: 12 hours per day, 6 days per week;
• Renovated 2 room single persons accommodation with shared bathroom and cooking facilities;
