Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Sprayer Operator to oversee their 25,000Ha cropping program located only 3 hours north of Perth. The right candidate will have minimum of 2 years broad acre cropping/spraying experience and be responsible for all day-to-day coordination, implementation and management of spraying program. This is a family run modern grain growing enterprise that offer the latest farming processes & systems with an excellent track record when it comes to progressive farming.

About the Role:

  • Operating the most up to date John Deere machinery including self propelled and trailed sprayers;
  • You will be required to consult with agronomists;
  • Assist with planning cropping rotations; 
  • Machinery maintenance;
  • Farm duties as required;
  • Managing seasonal staff.

About You:

  • Previous experience in a cropping environment with skills in operating self-propelled and trailed sprayers;
  • HR truck license (essential);
  • Chem cert (essential);
  • Highly organised, motivated and ambitious;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • People skills;
  • Mechanical aptitude.

  • $30-$40 per hour (depending on experience);
  • 5 days,10 hours per day (on average). 6 days, 12 hours per day during seeding and harvest;
