Our client is looking for an experienced General Farm Hand to join their team. This mixed enterprise is located in the eastern Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, in a small farming town.  This farming family are offering a great opportunity to settle into a rewarding farming position and integrate with the local community. Couples will be suitable as there is the option of part time work for a partner.

• Cropping program is 2,100Ha, cereals;
• Modern John Deere equipment.

About The Role:

• Machinery Operation; seeding, spraying, harvesting;
• Mechanical/Workshop skills: maintaining machinery and general repairs and workshop tasks;
• Stock work;
• General Farm work as and when required.

About You:

• Agricultural experience with seeding, spraying and harvesting operations and the associated machinery is essential;
• Must have a passion for the Agricultural industry; specifically, broadacre cropping and working with stock;
• Ability to self-manage, show good initiative, with high attention to detail and organizational skills;
• Ability to work with others and contribute to a positive workplace and culture;
• HR drivers license essential, MC license is desirable;
• Non-smoker preferred;
• Couples will be suitable as there is the option of part time work for a partner.

What’s On Offer:

• Salary: $35-$40 per hour dependent on experience and skills;
• Hours: 8-10 hour days, 5 day week on offer in off peak periods;
• Accommodation: 3 bedroom house with a fenced yard.
