Chaser Bin Operator, Cascade WA

Job Description

An experienced Chaser Operator required on a family owned and operated property with a 9,000Ha cropping program located in the Esperance region of Western Australia.  Starting mid-October until Christmas, you’ll be operating John Deere Quadtrac machinery with 40T and 50T bins. Experience with Greenstar GPS desirable.  Accommodation & meals provided.

About the Roles:

• Starting mid-October to Christmas;
• Working in a team of 6;
• Operating John Deere Quadtrac tractors with 40T and 50T bins;
• Greenstar GPS;
• Daily machinery maintenance – greasing etc;
• Other farm duties available on weather affected days.

 
About you:

• Previous broadacre Harvest experience;
• Experience with Greenstar GPS desirable;
• Good English speaking skills;
• Non-smoker/vaper preferred;
• Training may be provided to any candidates that meet the following:
  • Good attitude;
  • Willing to learn;
  • Operate in a careful manner.

 
What’s on offer:

• Hourly rate: $35;
• Hours: 12+ hour days during Harvest
• Accommodation: Shared 3×1 house or single donga with ensuite;
• Meals: Dinner provided, with lunch supplies available to make own lunch.
