Experienced Baler and hay/straw Operators required on a 625Ha cropping property located near Mundulla in South Australia. Our client are specialists in contract seeding and hay baling and require 2 Operators to start NOW until February 2025 with potential to stay for the straw season. Operating Case Magnums tractors with Massey Ferguson and Krone Balers and duties will include mowing, raking and large square baling. Also stacking bales and loading trucks. Accommodation provided and potential for ongoing casual work. Couples and friends considered. Strictly no smoking/vaping.

About the role:

• Operating Case Magnums (CVT) tractors with Massey Ferguson and Krone Balers and duties will include mowing, raking and large square baling. Also stacking bales and loading trucks.

 About you:

• Those with 6-12 months minimum experience working in Australian Agriculture are preferred;
• Those with baling experience will be highly regarded;
• A knowledge of hay/silage making;
• Experience with GPS/Autosteer;
• Be mechanically minded;
• Must have good communication skills;
• Must be a non smoker/vaper.

What’s on offer:

• Hourly rate: $30-$35, dependent on experience;
• Hours: Average of 10-15 hours per day; 7 days per week;
• Accommodation: cabins or houses;
• Meals: all meals supplied when away, when on farm must supply own meals; 60/40 spilt.
