Tractor Driver for Hay & Silage, Brunswick Junction WA
Job Description
Who wants 3-4 weeks work commencing early-mid October before you start your harvest job? A tractor driver is required on a dairy farm to assist with mowing and general duties for the hay and silage season located 2 hours south of Perth. Starting early-mid October (or earlier if available) for 3-4 weeks work, you’ll be working in a team of 6. Prefer those with silage making/carting/dairy/harvest experience. Accommodation provided and meals can be included or cook for yourself. Ideally you will have your own transport, but this is not essential.
About the role:
- 800 acres for hay and silage;
- Working in a team of 6;
- Operating the mower;
- Possibility to do relief rake work and other general duties.
About you:
- Silage making experience including silage carting;
- Harvest or tractor operation experience;
- Dairy background;
- Own transport but not essential;
- Smokers/vapers OK but not in accommodation, machinery or in paddock.
Machinery:
- John Deere tractors;
- JCB telehandler;
- New Holland trailed chopper;
- Claas chop and carry wagon.

- Hourly rate: $30 per hour;
- Hours: 8-10 hours per day, 7 days per week;
